SYDNEY/HONG KONG  – The Risky Women® network has unveiled the launch of a new podcast channel – Risky Women™ Radio. The podcast series will interview leading women in the risk, regulation and compliance industries from across the globe, providing a podium to discuss and debate important themes such as fighting global financial crime and managing conduct risk as well as mentorship and professional guidance for emerging female and male talent in the industry.

Launched in 2014, Risky Women® is a global network connecting and championing women in risk, regulation and compliance. The vibrant network is at the centre of a global community in a rapidly growing, changing and influential industry and provides a platform to exchange ideas and intelligence on the latest developments, challenges and innovation in the regulatory and compliance environment.

Speaking at the annual Thomson Reuters Australian Regulatory Summit in Sydney, Kimberley Cole, Head of Solutions Sales Asia, Financial & Risk at Thomson Reuters and Founder of Risky Women® said, “Women’s views and opinions in business are not heard enough. Building on some fabulous podcasts in the market already, this channel will provide a female perspective on the regulatory environment as well as the most pressing industry issues. It will also allow us to scale and connect to our existing Risky Women® global community and a new generation of risk, regulation and compliance professionals.”

She added: “Since the launch of Risky Women® in Hong Kong in 2014, we have connected hundreds of senior women in over 10 cities, from Boston to Hong Kong to London. Over the last three years, we have hosted some of the top women in the industry at our proprietary events, including key regulators and industry practitioners across the globe.”

Upcoming episodes will feature interviews with well-known Australian Non-Executive Chair and Director and Sustainability Advisor, Sam Mostyn; Catherine Simmons, Head of Government Affairs, Asia Pacific, Citi; Rebecca Terner Lentchner, Head of Government Relations Asia Pacific, BNY Mellon; and Angelina Kwan, Head of Compliance, HKEX.
